In Avengers Endgame: Encore, after devastating events wiped out half the world’s population, the remaining heroes struggle to move forward. Ultimately, they must come together to restore order and harmony in the universe and bring their loved ones back in a dramatic showdown against Thanos.
Avengers: Endgame Encore will hit theatres on September 25, less than 3 months before Doomsday. The re-release includes about four to seven minutes of new or bonus material. It features a custom introduction and a new post-credits scene. The added content connects the end of Endgame directly to Doomsday.
The film is produced by Kevin Feige and directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon Favreau, James Gunn and Stan Lee serve as executive producers.
Directed by the Russo brothers, who have also helmed Doomsday, Endgame featured an ensemble cast that includes Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Don Cheadle, Paul Rudd, Brie Larson, Karen Gillan, Danai Gurira, Benedict Wong, Jon Favreau, Bradley Cooper, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Josh Brolin.
